Profile

The centre includes an exhibition about the island, which presents a facsimile of The Lindisfarne gospels, information and exhibits about the Viking attack, the island’s fauna and flora and the history of the village, its people and their lives.

 

There is a small charge to visit. Entrance to the exhibition is through a shop. The centre is owned by the Holy Island of Lindisfarne Community Development Trust.

 

Open daily 10am to 4pm. Opening times may vary.
