Visit Lindisfarne is the most comprehensive resource for accommodation, food, shopping and things to do on Holy Island. We’ve just launched, so do let us know if you find any mistakes or bugs.
We charge no fees for the inclusion of island businesses, nor will we in the future.
This site was launched by the Belvue Partnership in response to the Holy Island 2050 project’s recommendations and working group discussions, both of which highlighted the need to improve the island’s online presence. To be fair, we’ve been thinking the same for a while, but HI2050 drove us to action.
We are not officially part of the HI2050 project, but because Belvue is already a leading provider of online information for the island, and considering our online expertise (see below), it made sense for us to contribute to the island in this way.
Whether you’re looking to plan your next visit, or you are on the island and would like directions to a landmark, the pub or the nearest public conveniences, this site is here to help.
If you are an island business, please do check your listing and let us know if anything needs to change. We’d also love to include any pictures you can add and a bit of a personal note from you to your customers. We will never charge you for your listing or for changes to it.
The Belvue Partnership is a local hospitality business that includes Danny Dagan, an experienced digital consultant and all-round geek with decades of experience. Its own website contains some of the most popular tourist information articles about the island, as well the Lindisfarne Castle webcam.
