The Barn at Beal (off island)

The nearest mainland food option close to Holy Island, the Barn at Beal is a short drive across the causeway. It offers a full restaurant service, a coffee shop and a campsite. Great for meals if you’re staying on the island (tides permitting), or on your way to/from the island.

As a result of Covid, the restaurant and cafe have been operating a reduced service in 2021, and no doubt will return to full operations soon. Check their website for the most current information.

Campsite

As camping is not allowed on Holy Island, this is the nearest campsite, just across the water on the mainland. They have 11 tent pitches with electrical points and electric hook-up for 16 Caravans/Camper-vans. There are toilet and shower facilities on-site. Camping details are available here.
